Introduction to Tea Ceremony- Learn to Create Your Own Sacred Tea Practice at Home
There is a quiet art to tea… one that is not just about drinking, but about being.
In this immersive introduction, you will be guided into both the practical and energetic foundations of tea ceremony. This is a space to learn, experience, and begin cultivating your own personal tea ritual at home.
We will explore:
• What tea truly is and how to work with it
• How to set up your own tea ceremony space
• The natural flow and rhythm of ceremony
• How to move with tea as a meditation and presence practice

The Way of Tea
Known as Cha Dao — “The Way of Tea” — this ancient practice invites us into awakened presence.
For thousands of years, tea has been honored as a plant teacher… a gentle guide that opens the senses, quiets the mind, and deepens connection to the soul.
Through stillness, subtle music, and intentional preparation, you will be guided into a direct experience of Living Tea — not just as something you drink, but something you receive.
This is a space to slow down…
to listen…
to feel…
And from that space, insight naturally arises.
We will close with time for reflection and optional sharing.

What is Tea?
In a world filled with “tea,” it’s important to understand:
True tea comes from the Camellia plant. Everything else — herbs, flowers, mushrooms — are technically infusions, or tisanes.
Within this one plant family, many expressions exist: White, Green, Yellow, Red, Black, and Pu-erh — each carrying its own unique character and energy.
Each ceremony will feature a tea chosen intuitively to support the energy of the group.

Living Tea
In this experience, you will be served Living Tea — tea grown in harmony with nature.
These teas are:
• Seed-grown and naturally cultivated
• Grown in biodiverse, wild environments
• Free from chemicals and artificial interference
• Harvested with care, respect, and integrity
Because of this, Living Tea carries a deeper vitality… a presence you can feel.
It is not just consumed — it is experienced.
